3M (you MUST have heard of them !) actually make the tapes for HP.
Yes, they are pre-formatted and the catalogue numbers here in the UK are :

DC600HC (600 feet) and DC615HC (150 feet)

In the UK, we buy them in bulk for 18.50 pounds sterling (30 or more tapes).
