There has been quite a bit of discussion in this group regarding certified tape cartridges, and the requirement to purchase them from HP. Well it seems to me there is another alternative, A utility that could be run on another workstation, (say a Sun or something with a NoRmal cartridge tape drive) to write the certification data onto the tape. Does anyone know if this is feasible ?
