The Interex 1989 Conference for Hewlett-Packard Computer Users will be held September 11-15, 1989 in San Francisco, California. This is a combined conference for Business and Technical Users. HP-UX users (both Series 300 and Series 800) are encouraged to get involved. Interex conferences are a great way to meet other customers and HP employees familiar with your system(s). The vendor exhibition is also a great way to find out about software packages and hardware that will work with your HP system. Plus, it's a good way to find out about what HP is up to these days. You are invited to submit a paper to the conference on areas of interest to other users of HP computers. An abstract (~150 words) is requested with sufficient detail to allow the selection committee to evaluate it. Paper Deadlines: Submission of Abstracts January 15 Accepted authors notified February 15 Final submissions due July 1 Do not your send abstracts to me. Write Interex for the "Call for Papers/Exhibitors" at: Interex P.O. Box 3439 Sunnyvale, CA 94088-3439 USA The call for registration is not out yet, but you can request it from Interex sometime in '89. In the past, abstracts and papers have been submitted to Bart Coddington, who is on the Cupertino site. You may want to check with him before submitting independently. His number is in the "book".
