>I am looking for sources to X11 for the HP 9000 300 series machines. Our >school just got 8 9000/350 workstations donated, and they came with X10. >We would like to get X11 running. Any help in this would be appreciated. HP source contributions (HP widgets, etc.) are provided in numerous spots on the MIT R3 distribution. The server code for the 98547A graphics card is in the server section of the distribution in server/ddx/hp. For other displays please work with your HP donations contacts. Are you on support services for your software? If so then you will be receiving the HP X11 product as part of your services. HP is providing the X11 product to customers who have a X10 support contract. We believe that we are the first company to be shipping real X11 product on Un*x systems, with real tools, documentation and support. Enjoy it, it was a lot_of_work :-). The product will provide you with noticeably improved performance and reliability over generic code. The HP X11 product is shipping, and the support service updates are in the process of distribution. >Bennett Smith uucp: ihnp4!csun!csuchico!bsmith >UNIX Administrative Staff PhoneNet: bsmith@csuchico.edu >California State University, Chico voice: 916/895-4635 Hope this helps, Jim (I can name that window system in one letter!)
