Looking through the October issue of HP Design & Automation (an independent publication), I find ads for the following: PCLIF: Innovative Software Systems, 14252 Culver Dr., Suite A-444, Irvine, CA 92714 5.25" or 3.5" disks, runs on PC. File Copy: Oswego Software, Inc., 507 North Adams St., Oswego, IL 60543 5.25" or 3.5" disks, runs on PC. DOS for 200/300, LIF for PC: Meadow Soft Works, 9714 Beversbrook, Houston, Texas 77031 5.25" or 3.5" disks, first runs on HP S200/300, second runs on PC. I have not used any of the above, and cannot make a recommendation for lack of knowledge, even if I could (for policy). For completeness, note that the HP BASIC Language Processor (Viper) provides similar capabilities, also on a PC system. After talking with both Meadow and Oswego (who was just comming out with theirs), it turned out to be easier, faster, and cheaper just to write one ourselves. They may be using it still. -- Good health is merely the slowest rate at which one can die.
