It might be interesting to note that I have a customer using BASIC/UX to control around a dozen instruments with a 318 discless client. He contends that because of the amount of data collected that the overall throughput is faster than a standalone 318 (HPUX file system is significantly faster than BASIC). What release of BASIC/UX do you have? What all are you running on the 330 while doing the Benchmark (X windows for example)? What is the configuration of the 330 in regards to RAM and HPIB interface(s), is there a Hi-Speed Disc Interface?
