Does anyone know of or have a good "auto dark" daemon for the bit-mapped monitors on HP 3xx workstations? I'm thinking of something like "saver" which runs on the SUNs; a process that keeps on eye on the keyboard and mouse and if nothing is going on for a while, darkens the screen. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Tony Kusalik Department of Computational Science kusalik@sklpl.usask.ca University of Sastachewan kusalik@sask.usask.ca Saskatoon, Saskatchewan kusalik@sask.bitnet S7N 0W0 Canada

I use "xset" with the "s" option to blank the screen after n seconds. This is, of course, under X11 (and probably under X10 as well). Bumping the mouse causes the screen to be displayed again... -bruce
