Cute. As I understand it, HP is one of the first vendors to release X11. It was released at 3.0 for the Series 800. Stanley Tsu tsu@hplabs.hp.com Sometimes I wish that I could stop you from talking, when I hear the silly things you say. - Elvis Costello (via Bob C.)

> It's coming on Series 300 6.5 very soon. Software production starts pronto > and normal lead times through the pipeline apply. It was shipped at 3.0 on > Series 800. Just so it's clear: X11 has been available as a separate product for the Series 300 since late Fall (I don't know the exact dates of customer shipments). The 3.0 release on the 800 mentioned above I believe is also a separate product. With 6.5 on the 300 and 3.1 on the 800 (coming "soon" to a system near you), X11 will be bundled in with HP-UX. -- Chan Benson HP Fort Collins This posting is not an official source of information about HP products or intentions.
