[comp.sys.hp] Request for a recent version of TeXX...

rkl@mva.cs.liv.ac.uk (Richard K. Lloyd) (03/09/89)

Does anyone have a new(ish) version of TeXX (TeX previewer of DVI files in
X Windows) that runs on HP9000 Series 300 workstations (we have X11R2) ?

We already have version 1.2 (dated 88/02/11 - i.e. 11th Feb last year) and
it doesn't exactly work too well...

Any help would be greatly appreciated !

Texx is mega-slow. We don't have the R3 Athena List widget, so I
haven't tried texx2. Anybody got that up?
