Is there anybody at HP (or anywhere else for that matter) that remembers the HP 6942A MultiProgrammer from way back when (around 1982 actually) and may be able to give me some advice to solve problems I am having with it? I am trying to control this machine from a Zenith PC-XT through a GPIB-PC interface from National Instruments (also old; roughly 1984). The Multiprogrammer is set up as a "high-speed" (relatively speaking of course) A/D data acquisition station. It is equipped with the following boards: 1 Scan control/Pacer card Model 69750A 1 A/D converter card Model 69751A 1 FET Scanner Card Model 69755A Why use this antiquated equipment? Well, we'd rather see it serve some purpose instead of sitting there like a rusting hulk. So we are trying to use it for low-frequency physiological measurements. If anyone knows about this equipment, send me a reply and I can then tell you more about the difficulties I am having.
