Does anyone know? On another note, since HP is doing the central part of the Motif interface, has anyone out there thought about slapping a visually oriented screen designer (ala MS Windows Dialog Box Editor) onto the HP Widget set? It's rapidly becoming rather tedious typing all this widget innards stuff. Will the DEC User Interface Language contain a screen designer, or just an extension of the text-oriented resource manager for X? Comments? > Will the 6.5 HP-UX release contain X11R2 or X11R3? > Signed: John McLendon uunet\ HP-UX 6.5 will be supplied with X11R2. Most of the R3 bug fixes have been incorporated (plus a few post-R3), but the R3 font naming and toolkit are not. It will support local Starbase programs running full-performance within an X window. The latest information I have is that it's X.11 r2 with the bug fixes planned for r3. (The intrinsics are r2.) Mike Forman Hewlett-Packard Workstation Group
