I'm trying to put two hi-speed HPIB interfaces in an HP9000/350 SRX. I'm going to be adding a couple of disc drives, and since one of the drives is from a node that is now discless I wanted to pull it's 98625A interface and put in the 350. I changed the select code to 26, but when booting under HPUX 6.0 It finds the new interface, but then panics because it's not on a 'unique interrupt level' So I change the Ilevel to 6 and reboot. Everything looks good, except that it says it's an unsupported configuration when it boots. So how do you really put 2 hi-speed HPIB's in a 350? re: "So how do you really put 2 hi-speed HPIB's in a 350?" If they are both late models (98625B, 98262A), just plug 'em in. If one is an older 98625A (as in your case), set the interrupt level of the '25A to 4 and the other to 3. If both are 625A's, set one to 4 and the other to 6. HP-UX will complain, but it works.
