[comp.sys.hp] HPUX and troff

Does anybody know when HPUX will finally supply troff?? I'm still at HPUX
6.0, so I suppose it's possible that it's in a newer release.

We are in frequent contact with HP, and the current state of affairs
is that they have no current plans to supply troff with HP-UX.
They are prefering that customers purchase troff from third party
vendors, like us. HP has internally chosen EROFF as the troff they
use for their own documentation. HP has site licenses at several sites
for EROFF. (EROFF is available on a wide range of UNIX systems and MS-DOS,
not just HP-UX.)

If you are a troff user and desire information on EROFF, please contact
the number below.
