I have been using HP BASIC for a while, but we will be switching to PC's in the near future. Could someone please post or send me mail about experiences using HTBasic (by TransEra), HP Basic emulator board (by HP) or other Rocky Mountain BASIC emulators. Basically I've heard that HTBasic has memory problems unless you use the 386 version, and the HP BASIC emulator board is SLOW. Any comments on memory, speed, compatibility, etc. would be appreciated. Thanks, Pete Deutsch 612 828-3071 Rosemount Inc., Mpls, MN

The new version (82300C, to be released imminently) brings both these areas up to competitive performance. Compatibility is greater with the Emulator than with HT BASIC, but you also have to pay more. +---------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Greg Goebel | | Hewlett-Packard CWO / 1000 NE Circle Boulevard / Corvallis OR 97330 | | (503) 752-7718 | | INTERNET: cwo_online@hp-pcd | | HP DESK: CWO ONLINE / HP3900 / 20 | +---------------------------------------------------------------------+
