Hi, I have a serious problem. We have 825's here at the Media Lab and one of them is giving me this error during booting: can't log low priorit machine check most of the time this error is followed by a reboot or the machine just locks up (the reset key won't work). The error comes right after the boot rom tries to boot from any devices (I have tried 7937 disc and 9144 cart. tape), it gets as far as saying boot and the load and start address and seems to be going just fine when all of a sudden this error comes up. The disc is HP-IB on device c0d0s0 and the cart. tape is c3d0s2 (also HP-IB), we have two HP-IB cards, at address 0 and 2, two mux's at addresses 1 and 3, two graphics cards at addresses 8 and 12 and a lan at address 4. Any help, ideas, suggestions will be appreciated !! |Harris L.
