I am looking for an implementation of X11.3 for the medium resolution color screen MRTOPCAT (98543A) on the HP9000/3xx series. Is there such an implementation in the PD ? If so I would like to know where to get it. If so I would like to know where to get it. I don't know of a PD one, but two product releases of X11R2 have already shipped, and X11R3 will ship with HP-UX 7.0 (I believe others have already commented on its availability). Would you want to hack your own version, based on the R3 tape? I haven't looked at the R3 source, but you just need to know the primary difference between the high-res Topcat (the source for which is what comes on the R3 tape). Basically, the medium res Topcat has a framebuffer that is 1024 pixels wide and 512 tall (400 of which are visible). However, the aspect ratio is 2:1, so you need to treat adjacent pixels as one virtual pixel. This gets you a framebuffer of 512 pixels wide. Ian Elliott
