Am working with the 98549 Graphics interface on a 340. Some
of our existing software works directly with the 98549. I would
appreciate a pointer on where to acquire documentation on the 98549 as
implemented on the 340 hardware. For that matter, where can I get
programming documentation on all of the 9854X Graphics interface
cards? The only reference I have at the current time is an OLD Pascal
3.0/3.1 System Designers Guide... Anyone in HP willing to help?

FYI, the 98549 ( 1024x768 x 6 planes ) is a low cost version of the hp98550 ( 1280x1024 x 8+2 planes ). In the world of HP's Starbase graphics, both of these cards are driven by the "libdd98550.a" driver. To the best of my knowledge, the hp98549 is covered as part of the hp98550 documentation. You might try "Starbase Device Drivers Library Manual" "hp 9000 Series 300/800 Computers" p/n 98592-90015 This single manual covers ALL the hp9000 series displays cards as they relate to Starbase graphics.
