Can anyone tell me what level of ANSI support will be available in HP-UX 7.0? I am particularly interested in function prototypes and stdarg variable argument handling. regards, fletcher Fletcher E. Kittredge fkittred@bbn.com

The C compiler on HP-UX 7.0 for the s800's (only) will be a full implementation of the Dec'88 ANSI C draft document (it's not yet a standard, folks). On the s300's, you'll have to wait for a later release (an announcement will be made). Regarding stdarg, you can use "varargs.h" for the moment. (I don't know if I misunderstood your question - do you need stdarg specifically, or will any supported method of doing variadic args do for you?). ----- Shankar Unni E-Mail: Hewlett-Packard California Language Lab.
