Here.  Pascal *needs* this stuff if it is to be used as a "real" language, not
just a teaching language.  The contortions we go through to get to the low level
stuff do not make our programs any better.  I'm glad that it's possible to use
C functions from Pascal but it's too bad that that's often easier than 
programming in one language.

BTW, I'd like to thank HP again for taking such an interest in user feedback.
That's the way to stay in business!
