I have recently tried to order the "HP 700/92 and HP 700/94 Reference Manual" from HP DIRECT. I had found the part number of this manual listed in the user's manual that comes with the terminal. Unfortunately, I was told that with this number (012345-90002) no product exists. I also called the nearest HP sales office, but they couldn't tell me the correct number, either. (They are, however, trying to find out...) The manual is not listed in the August 1988 documentation index. Could anyone please tell me the correct part number for the reference manual ? Thanks, -- Mathias Myka Memmingen, West Germany E-Mail: cosmo!mathmyka (mathmyka@cosmo.UUCP)

Unfortunately, I was told that with this number > (012345-90002) no product exists. 012345-90002 is invalid on its face. There's one too many digits in the prefix, and I would have expected the prefix to be C1001- or C1002-. It looks like a made-up part number used as a place-holder in some document, and then never corrected when the final numbers were assigned. Those final numbers are: 5957-9971 $3.00 700/92,94 User's Manual 5957-9982 $25.00 700/92,94 Reference Manual Prices are U.S. list. RE: "HP 700/92 and HP 700/94 Reference Manual" I just ordered five '92s, and the manual that came with each of them was the "HP700/92 HP700/94 User's Manual", part number 5062-2312. Hope this helps. Bill Gates

>I just ordered five '92s, and the manual that came with each of them was the >"HP700/92 HP700/94 User's Manual", part number 5062-2312. Pardon me. Upon further inspection, I find that this part number is the part number for a single piece of paper with "Printed in Singapore" written on it. The part number for the manual itself is 5957-9971.
