I am trying to integrate some 9000/360 machines into our mail network. I have set up aliases and and the sendmail.cf, but every time sendmail tries to deliver a message it complains that there is no tty mailer. The message is successfully delivered AND rejected back to the sender. As there are no clues in the system admin guides, plz can someone explain what a tty mailer is? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- L.Carr@ecs.soton.ac.uk Les Carr Tel: +44 703 593649 Dept of Electronics and Computer Science Fax: +44 703 593939 University of Southampton Telex: 47661 SOTONU G Southampton SO9 5NH England

Do you have a line like this in your .cf file? Mtty, P=/bin/false, F=rlsnP, S=10, R=20, A=to $u, M=5000 mjb. mjb@hoosier.utah.edu "If I took a rollin' wheel, rolled it ten times 'round..."
