Using a surplus controller PCB, I have assembled a 9134A hard drive. I have no infromation on DIP switch or jumper settings, though. Perhaps there is someone who is sufficiently familiar with the controller PCB's used in the original 9133A/9134A/9135A drives who can provide the info? The HP part numbers for the PCB is 88134-69910 | 09135-69515 | 09135-69501 and was made by Microcomputer Systems Corp., which seems to no longer be in business, and is their assembly number 104506A. I don't know how which of the three actually belong to this PCB but according to the service documentation they are all the same, differing only in their firmware. I am also having a problem getting the HP150 that it is connected to to boot properly. I keep getting a fatal error: "Bad or missing /DEV/CON" despite having copied the system to the drive. It boots nicely from the 9121D and the system files on both drives are exactly identical according to two file comparison utilities. I hope that there are some HP hard-drive gurus who could help out with this thing... Thanx-in-advance, jd onymouse(at)netcom.UUCP
