As far as I can tell, HPWM has no facility for dynamically copying a whole window during a move; it just shows the little xor frame until you release a button. Does anyone know any way to get around this? I consider dynamic movement of the full window to be an important feature, since I'm using the window manager as an interactive placement tool for image grabbing routines. To the best of my knowledge, hpwm (and mwm) do not support "opaque" moves. I'm a full time mwm user, but I do miss some of my previous uwm/twm features. Thomas Gilg tomg@cv.hp.com
