As a spin-off from the discussion of avoiding ENQ/ACK on MPE or getting cu to use ENQ/ACK - I would love to have a terminal emulator for my 9000/350 (HP-UX 6.5, soon to be 7.0) which will allow me access to either or both of my 3000's (70 and 950). I have heard (from "reliable" sources) that HP has one of these for internal use only, but they seem to be unwilling to make it avaiable. Comments? Suggestions? Thanks. I'm sorry but I must have missed the discussion of enq/ack & cu. The cu program should have no problem accessing a 3000, and it does have an option that tells it to respond properly to enq/ack handshaking. It also know how to send data a 3000 using DC1 prompting. What exactly was the original problem, and in what way did cu fail to solve it? Rob
