Help! We have an HP9000-236, running Basic 5.0 and would like to be able to perform file transfers to the local UNIX network (VAX 11/780's, etc). We have a copy of Kermit on the network machines, but have been unable to download it successfully (embarrassing but true!). We have tried to get a copy from Interex, but they only seem capable of sending us Kermit for Pascal 5.0, which we neither have nor want! So if anyone has Kermit for the HP9000-236 under Basic 5.0, and would be willing to make a copy on a 3 1/2" diskette and mail it to us, we would be very grateful -- I might even make you a deal on this HP9845A I have just declared surplus....... Or perhaps I am barking up the wrong tree, is there anything better, like TCP/IP under HP Basic 5.0???? I know they were working on a port of their Fusion product (telnet and ftp) to the HP BASIC/WS. I remember seeing something about this in _Workstation_ (when it was _HP_Design_&_Automation_), but they don't seem to have ads. there, so I can't come up with an address or phone number. I have not used this product, myself. Regards, Steve Taylor NOT A STATEMENT, OFFICIAL OR OTHERWISE, OF THE HEWLETT-PACKARD COMPANY.
