A fellow co-worker is trying to get xdvi to fly on some HP 9000/300s and 800s and is having a heck of a time. The version he has is from Paul Vojta (vojta@math.berkeley.edu) incorporating modifications from Donald Richardson (donr@crystal.mie.clarkson.edu) and others and is up to patchlevel 6. He is segmentation faulting on the first call to XtRealizeWidget, with the call stack looking like: 0 __end_break_ + 0x4d2 (0x93ad8, 0, 0x1, 0x7905c, 0x93c4c) 1 __XtClassIsSubclass + 0xec (0x93ad8, 0x1, 0x21, 0x56f84, 0x54546) 2 __XtClassIsSubclass + 0x108 (0x7905c, 0xffeff974, 0x2cf0, 0x7905c, 0x1) 3 _XtRealizeWidget + 0x16 (0x7905c, 0x1, 0, 0x1, 0x3) 4 main (argc = 2, argv = 0xffeff988) [xdvi.c: 2245] Line 2245 of xdvi.c is: XtRealizeWidget(top_level); This same code (sans -DSYSV) runs on our Sun3/4s with no problems. Can anybody help me shed some light on this? Does anyone have a working version of xdvi? Thanks in advance, Richard G.
