Does anybody on the net know of anyone who is working on computer
analysis of voiceprints? No, I'm not with the NSA. There are
folks here who use voiceprint technology for recording birdsongs,
and at the moment all their analysis is done manually in horribly
tedious ways. There is mild interest in possible automation.
[Real old-timers on the net may recognize this request as something
we asked about three years ago. At the time, the replies we got did
not tell us about anybody we weren't already aware of. Since the net
has expanded greatly since then, it seemed worth another try.]
