I've heard rumors that rdump for HPUX (9000s300 6.5) exists, but I've been unable to find it. Does anyone know how I could get it, if it exists? Thanks, Michael Helm (mike@fionn.lbl.gov) (M_Helm@lbl.gov)

I am having problems doing backups over a network. I have a HP 9000/300 Hpux6.5 and want to use rdump for backups over a network. The network consists mostly of suns. Is there a version of rdump that runs with 6.5 or is the rdump command included with 7.0? THanks niermann@csg.uiuc.edu

Sorry to say, but I've never seen an "rdump" version for 6.5 although I've been asking around a couple of times. (I've been using GNUtar for a while). | ... or is the rdump command included with 7.0? Yes it is. I got the 7.0 tapes yesterday so you'll not be surprised that I can't tell any experiences yet, right?? ;-) --[ Edwin ]-- -- Edwin Kremer (SysAdm), Dept. of Computer Science, Utrecht University Padualaan 14, P.O.
