has anyone out there managed to get keyboard translations to work with
HP's xterm (HPUX 7.0 , X11R3), via the resources. For instance,
xterm -xrm "*translations: \#override <Key>F1: string(\"F1\")"
gives me
Translation table syntax error: Modifier or '<' expected
Found while parsing '#override <Key>F1: string("F1")'.
Translation table syntax error: Missing '<'.
Found while parsing '#override <Key>F1: string("F1")'.
Translation table syntax error: Unknown event type.

Translation table syntax error: Missing '>'

Illegal instruction
Strangely enough, this works in the MIT xterm (X11R3 & X11R4)
