Some time ago, I attempted to install Interactive's 386/ix on an HP RS/20 (300Mb HD) without success. Interactive expects the format program to mark bad sectors and limits that count to 255. Because the HP format utility marks bad tracks, that count will be easily exceeded on a typical 300Mb drive. Apparently there is a utility out there (somewhere) called ESDICONV.EXE which converts the disc from track to sector marking. Has anyone heard of it? Do you know where I can get it?
