Does anyone have the HP Monitor program for HP-UX 7.0 for an HP9000/840? We found this program to be quite useful under 3.1. Now that we've upgraded to 7.0 not all of the screens are working. Dig out the 7.0 update tape and look around for the fileset "USRCNTRB" (under the OS_CMDS partition). This fileset contains contributed utilities like "monitor". ----- Shankar Unni E-Mail: Hewlett-Packard California Language Lab. Internet: shankar@hpda.hp.com

If it had been present, I assume that this software would already be on my 7.0 systems because I loaded everything. I believe that you HP types get stuff on your customized tapes that we customers do not get. And the original poster's address implied that he was a customer. There is a 7.0 version of monitor on my support tape, but there's no /usr/contrib/lib/monitor.help to go with it. Still it's better than nothing. To extract monitor from a support tape, use: mt fsf 6 -t /dev/rmt/0hn tar xvf /dev/rmt/0h ./usr/contrib/bin/monitor Paul Hite PRC Realty Systems McLean,Va uunet!prcrs!paul (703) 556-2243 DOS is a four letter word!
