#N:ucbesvax:6200005:000:650 ucbesvax!turner Sep 5 23:52:00 1983 On the Ferry/Eno split (maybe we need a net.rock.ancient.history?) I read an interview with "Byron Ferrari" where, after much cooing about how he was one of the forefathers of New Wave (wah?), the interviewer inquired after B.F.'s thoughts on Eno's then-recent "Before and After Science", and on Eno's work in general. Ferry responded (I'm paraphrasing): "Well, I could go into the studio and make strange sounds too, y'know." Eno Is God, Michael Turner (ucbvax!ucbesvax.turner) P.S. Actually, I used to think that Chicago was God. But then I turned ten one year, or they turned bad, whichever came first, I don't remember too well...
