Yaser Doleh <doleh@math-cs.kent.edu> was supplying X11R4 source from MIT on either HP 9144A compatible cartridges or SUN 60MB cartridges. He was charging a small fee for media/shipping/handling expenses. > > -- > Nick Hoggard Phone: + 46 46 168524 > Man-Machine Communication Lab Fax: + 46 46 145620 > ABB Corporate Research, Dept KLL Internet: nick@abblund.se > Ideon Research Park, S-223 70 Lund, Sweden ----------------------------------------------------------------- Jeff Bailey (System Administrator) <bailey@math-cs.kent.edu> Department of Mathematics and Computer Science Kent State University Kent - OH 44242

Plus, we'd like it for the 800 series >(in this madhouse, we've got both!) >-- The X11R4 distribution from MIT has the binaries for the machine-specific libraries. I"m not 100% sure that it has the /800 versions, but it definitely has the /300 versions -- I've been running X11R4 on my 9000/350 for about two months now. And yes, it's faster and better than X11R3, so upgrade. And yes, it runs fine under HP-UX 7.0 In case you don't know (flame on!) you can get the complete distribution from expo.lcs.mit.edu. It's big, so don't ftp it during the day.
