HELP !! I'm trying to find a way to manipulate our sendmail.cf so that when a user types r ( for reply-to through email) from our newsreader rn, sendmail will interpret addresses like user@site.domain as a uucp address and look it up in our uupath directory. As it stands right now, we use /bin/mail from rn which calls sendmail. Sendmail will interpret and add on the rest of the path if the address is in an UUCP format ( site!user). If the addresss is user@site sendmail will try and tcp it and the mail will not be sent. We are running Hewlet Packards 9000, series 300 Unix System V, revision 7.0 and our sendmail version is the one that came with this system. (sendmail (1M)). I've read all our documentation on the subject and I still can't figure out how to solve this problem. If anyone can offer any help, suggestions or more documentation on sendmail please email the information.
