Running OS/2 1.1, I had no problems to run HP's AdvanceLink in the DOS compatibility box. Despite warnings that communication software may not run in the compatibility box, everything worked fine. After the upgrade to 1.2, AdvanceLink hangs as soon as I try to connect to the serial port. A cold start is needed then. I use drivers \os2\com02.sys and \cmlib\asyncddb.sys. I excluded the latter, tried setcom40, but nothing helped. Does anyone on the net run AdvanceLink in the compatibility box of OS/2 1.2? Or do I have to install double boot, MS-DOS, FAT... :-( Michael Krueger Ciba-Geigy, Dyes & Chemicals, Basel, Switzerland email: cgch!bkruem@relay.EU.net
