[comp.sys.hp] X server on SRX in 24 bit mode

I just recently tried running X on an SRX in 24 bit mode. For some
reason the outline around the pointer disappears and the pointer
changes to either black or a dark shade of blue. This happens with
both the MIT R4 server and the new HP R4 server. The pointer stays
blue even when it's moved into windows which would normally have
pointers of their own color. The icon changes when you enter a window
but the color stays either black or blue.
Does anyone know how to get the server to run in TrueColor mode on the
SRX. It insists on coming up in DirectColor.
