I am running HP-UX 7.0 with DDN X.25 support and I want to disable precedence negotiation, is there a way to do it? I have looked in the configurations, but it does not appear to be configurable. I also looked in the header files (x25structs.h and x25codes.h) and saw that it is defined but I couldn't find anything relevant when adb'ing the kernel. Thanks in advance, Alan R. When you specify the "network" type as DDN, you automatically get precedence negotiation. The only way to disable precedence negotiation is to choose a "network type" other than DDN (and I suppose this could cause some connectivity problems if your x.25 switch/psn was actually following DDN). There is no way to disable precedence negotiation AND have a "network type" of DDN. Margie Spencer HP Network Support
