The hp 110 pin out corresponds to the DB25 pin out wherever possible. It was defined before IBM introduced their 9 pin serial which explains why they are different. 1 DTR 2 TxD 3 RxD 4 RTS 5 CTS 6 DSR 7 Ground 8 RLSD (carrier detect) 9 Ring Detect HP sells cables for the 110.
