I want to connect a Macintosh II, equipped with an Ethernet port, to our HP3000/922LX. The terminal software I use on the Mac is HP's AdvanceLink/Mac (a.k.a. Tymlabs Color Session). The AdvanceLink manual says that NS/3000 is necessary to accomplish this, while our HP service technician saythat it should be possible without NS/3000. Could anyone tell me what hardware/software components and configuration settings are necessary to make this connection ? Thanks in advance, -- Mathias Myka Memmingen, West Germany

As I know you would need NS/3000 to connect anything thru Ethernet but AdvLink allows you to connect thru an RS-232 port emulating an HP terminal. -- Eduardo J.
