I'm not sure this is the right newsgroup for this, but here goes:
We have:
H-P Model # Part
5890A Gas Chromatograph
3396A Integrator
7673A Controller
9114B Disk Drive
as our GC Analysis system. The disk drive writes in a non-DOS-readable
format. I want to take the data from the integrator to a PC, and analyze it
there. Does anyone know anything about this? If this isn't the right news-
group (which I suspect, but don't know where else to turn), please mail me
the name of an appropriate newsgroup. comp.hp.data.acquisition would be
nice, but it doesn't seem to exist.

If you can verify that that's what it's writing, HP and various third-parties offer packages that read/write LIF on PCs. Contact your HP sales rep. and/or check the ads. in Workstation magazine.
