renga@cs.uoregon.edu asks why `spell' stopped working at 7.0, and provides
the diagnostic message. Some HP-UX 7.0 update tapes left out the files
/usr/lib/spell/hlista, /usr/lib/spell/hlistb, and /usr/lib/spell/hstop.
Restoring ones from a previous backup worked for us when we saw this problem.
In fact, we converted to a `trusted system', which means we reinstalled the
whole system, and our tape was also missing a whole fileset with a bunch of
the header files in it. The Response Center and our local SE took care of it
fast, but I hope they grumbled loud at QA at the distribution center...

A search in HP Support Line for SPELL HLISTA would have retrieved infor
mation about how to get the hlista, histlb and hstop from /etc/newconfig.
Hope this will help others.
