Thanks to all who replied to my plea on how to make X11 suitable under a 318. They all suggested reducing the kernel and removing all the useless background processes and I/O stuff. Special thanks to Tor Lillquist for a *detailed* guide which I plan to use. This net stuff is real useful... Mahesh
