We are urgently looking for the video interface specification
of the HP LASERJET printer (type 33440AB).
We tried to contact HP but we encountered a wall of silence...

Who can help us to get this information ? Many thanks in advance !

Please reply by email (bsteh@alderan.uucp),

I faced this same problem several years ago and found that the
best method remove the HP processor board from the LaserJet and to
install a Canon RG1- 0715-000 video interface circuit - which provides
OEM video input to a bare SX engine - price is approx. US$75

These are available from Canon dealers [I got one from:
	FX Unlimited
	4151 Middlefield Road
	Suite 110
	Palo Alto, CA 94303
;phone[(415) 494-0888]
]

The Canon VD-1 interface will fit in the slot but will not work due to
the changes which HP has made in their processor board and how it uses
this slot.
