Apologies if this is a repeat question but I am trying to find a way to switch between postscript and pcl on a HPLJ3 using the hp postscript cartridge. What I am ideally looking for is some sort of escape sequence which will tell the printer to ignore the ps cartridge without having to switch off the printer and remove the cartridge. What you want just cannot be done. The printer must be power-cycled in order to change from PCL to Postscript or visa-versa. Bob Lienhart
