We are thinking about buying a postscript cartridge.
Our LJ II has 1M memory and I was wondering if it is really
necessary to buy additional memory. If so, which is the best source?
Will I be able to trade-in the 1M board we have for a 2 or 4M board?
(The LaserJet has been idle for about 3 years now and
and I'm taking the initiative to put it to use! So the memory
board is as good as new.)
I have received conflicting opinions about Pacific Data Product's
and HP's postscript cartridges.
What is the experience of other users of PDP, HP or Adobe's
postscript cartridges - specifically on
postscript complicance,
reliablity,
quality of print
software controlled switching from PCL to PS and
vice-versa (desirable but not very important).
If there is enough interest, I'll post a summary
