Hi there, My HP-X-Terminal causes some unexpected trouble. My question is, whether there are others with the same experiences, perhaps even with an idea, how to fix it. Problem is, that the Terminal is going to hang sometimes. I mean, that I'm working and suddenly ( mostly when I start to use the mouse, to open another window ), the X-server does not respond. There is no changing of windows, .... No action at all. Sometimes the total breakdown is announced by the misbehaviour of a single window, mostly one which is currently showing vi. It seems to be a problem of timing. Vi, being char-oriented is interactive, the mouse is producing a lot of I/O, ... then things are confused. Maybe. Any other idea ? Oh, I should add the information, that I'm on Software- Release B.03.00. Thanx for any answer ( if there will be mail-info, I will summarize for the net-community ). Ralph
