I remember (vaguely) a while back people talking about getting the PC NFS Daemon running - but don't recall any particulars. We have a PC that is connected to our 9000/375 over ethernet, and we have installed PC-NFS onto the PC (of course). My question is - what experiences have people had in getting the companion PC NFS daemon running on the HP9000 ?? Works ok, but with limitations, didn't work at all - what ?? thanks for any and all feedback, scott pinkerton scpinker@pikes.denver.colorado.edu

Aargh. I hate working with new terminals! (just installed Win3...) My response *SHOULD* have said: I remember lots of head scratching before I discovered that all the lines in /etc/inetd.conf that say "don't uncomment unless running portmap" need to be uncommented. Gets all the rpc's going!
