i need a small proggie to control a modem (basically hang it up). unattended. i had one on the 540, but the code does not port, i get (send:) AT\r (get: ) O<timeout> (send:) AT\r (get: ) K\rO<timeout> (send:) AT\r (get: ) K\rO<timeout> that last K of OK is not seen until the next is sent. sigh. I immediatly tried the dialers.c program, and while it works from under uucico/cu, it will NOT work (try "/usr/lib/dialer ACUHAYESSMART /dev/portname 555-1212 2400" see what i mean.....) 1) what does uucico/cu do to set up the line differently? 2) where is latest kermit-type source for an example of how to do this correctly? -- Lance R.
