[comp.sys.hp] BSD or Mach on Hp9000

sjl@doc.ic.ac.uk (Steve J Lacey) (01/25/91)

Hi,
This subject has probably been done to death, but has anyone
had any experience with BSD/Mach systems on hp9000s?

Please email me as I don't want to rehash anything that's gone
before.

Ta, Steve.

I believe U. of Utah has ported both and they are available in a supported
release from MtXinu in Berkeley.

Mt. Xinu was at Uniforum last week, and in their literature
mentioned both 4.3BSD and Mach ports.

Plus some really cool calendars :-)
