I'm trying to get mwm on my HP9000s350/HP-UX 7.0 to make its frame borders not so ugly and fat. The entire contents of my .Xdefaults file are: Mwm*keyboardFocusPolicy: pointer Mwm*frameBorderWidth: 3 Mwm*interactivePlacement: true Mwm*useIconBox: true Mwm*defaults*focusAutoRaise: false HPterm*cut: center HPterm*paste: right But it makes no difference what I set the value of frameBorderWidth to, the window borders are always the same width. I've RTFM (at least mwm(1)). Have I overlooked something (does some other resource need to be specified, or an mwm commandline flag or an environment variable?) or is this an unimplemented feature? BTW, "what /usr/bin/X11/mwm" reports: /usr/bin/X11/mwm: Motif Version 1: $Revision: 1.18 $ Context.c 1.5 2/24/87 -- Mike Khaw ParcPlace Systems, Inc., 1550 Plymouth St., Mountain View, CA 94043 Domain=khaw@parcplace.com, UUCP=...!{uunet,sun,decwrl}!parcplace!khaw

Hi all, A user at my site has informed me that the setenv NAME does not work when he uses elm. Does anyone know if this function is supporting under 7.0? Shahryar 'My words fly up, my thoughts remain below. Words without thoughts never to heaven go.' Hamlet--Act III--scene iii

The entire contents of my .Xdefaults file are: > > Mwm*keyboardFocusPolicy: pointer > Mwm*frameBorderWidth: 3 You need to set "Mwm*resizeBorderWidth" to affect the borders of windows that have resize handles. That will be most windows. Mike Stroyan, mike_stroyan@fc.hp.com
